Note: If you installed Multisite before WordPress version 3.5, you won't have a sites directory in wp-content/uploads. The great thing about this is that as long as you move your uploads folder, everything will be ok. Multisite creates an additional folder called sites in the wp-content/uploads directory, which contains the uploads and plugins relevant to each site.
